Furniture Donations

Furniture Donation Guidelines

We Will Not Be Able To Receive Furniture Donations Until The New Year

The Loft’s mission is to promote dignity and stability across Thanet by redirecting donated furniture to families in need.

Our clients are primarily low-income individuals and families who lack the resources to meet their most basic furniture needs. Most cannot afford the household necessities to make a house a home, and rely on our help to obtain them.

We serve all ages without prejudice or judgement throughout Thanet. While several agencies in the area work to connect low-income families to the services they require, The Loft is the only organization in Thanet solely focusing on providing furnishings and bedding to help families turn housing into a home.

We redirect gently used furniture and houseware items to better the lives of many deserving Thanet residents.

If the answer is, Yes, then we will be happy to receive it.

Free Service?

Our service is free to use, both those who are donating items and those who are receiving them howeveer we do request a £10 collection/delivery donation.

A free to use service is not a free to run service!  The Loft costs approximately £75 per day to operate.  Any and all donations are thankfully received.
